Split limo and private driver: common questions
A few things guests ask us most often before booking a car and driver in Split or Trogir.
What kind of cars do you offer?
We run a private driver service with executive cars, not stretch limousines. That usually means a Mercedes E, S, or V-Class, reserved only for your group. We also keep more budget-friendly sedans and minivans, so you can pick comfort or value depending on your trip.
How many passengers can you carry?
We have sedans for up to 3 passengers, minivans for 4 to 7, and minibuses for larger groups of around 8 to 20. Tell us your group size and luggage and we match the right vehicle.
Do you handle Split Airport pickups?
Yes. Split Airport (SPU) is about 25 km from central Split and only 6 km from Trogir. Your driver waits at arrivals with a name sign, and the price is fixed in advance, so there is no meter running in summer traffic. For a straight airport run, see our Split Airport taxi transfer page.
Do you do private day trips with a driver?
Yes, and this is one of the things we do most. You hire the car and driver for the day, set your own pace, and the driver waits between stops. Popular days out from Split include Krka and Plitvice lakes, the wineries behind Split and Trogir, the historic towns of Trogir and Šibenik, and a full day in Mostar and Medjugorje.
Can I book a driver for wine tasting or island connections?
Yes. For wine days the driver waits while you taste, so nobody has to skip a glass. We also drop you at the ferry port for Hvar, Brač, or Korčula and pick you up when you come back.
Can you drive to other towns or across the border?
Yes. Guests often ask us for Makarska, Šibenik, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, and Mostar. For trips into Bosnia or Montenegro we take care of the border crossing, which is simpler than arranging cross-border insurance for a rental yourself.
How does pricing work?
We quote a flat rate for the whole car, agreed before the trip, not a price per person and no meter. Send us your plan and we reply with a fixed quote.
